Purchase any of the stickered fragrances in the Impulse and Lynx ranges and text in your unique code to 8228, to WIN a Jeep Wrangler or one of 50 mobile phones.
How to enter:
1. Buy any stickered fragrance in the Impulse or Lynx range;
2. Peel the top layer off the sticker on the can;
3. Using your mobile phone, TXT the unique code on the sticker, followed by a space and your full first and last name to 8228.
Retain your Impulse or Lynx peel and reveal sticker, including your unique code, and the purchase receipts for all entries as proof of purchase. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of purchase for each entry made to verify all entries before awarding the prize. Failure to provide these to the Promoter upon request may, at the Promoter's discretion, result in an invalid entry (and, at the Promoter's discretion, to all of that entrant's entries being invalid). Entries are deemed accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission. Consumers may enter as many times as they like provided each entry is associated with a separate purchase of a stickered fragrance in the Impulse or Lynx range.
Terms and Conditions
General
1. Entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Full Terms and Conditions will be housed at www.summerhookup.co.nz.
3. The promotion is open to all New Zealand residents except employees of the Promoter, its agencies associated with this offer and their immediate family members.
4. Entrants under the age of 18 years must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter. If the Major Prize Winner is under the age of 18, the Major Prize Winner must be accompanied by that Major Prize Winner's parent or guardian at the time of collection of the Major Prize.
5. The promotion commences at 12.01am on November 9th 2009 and entries close at 11.59pm on December 13th 2009 ("the Promotional Period").
6. Each valid TXT entry requires the entrant to purchase an individual stickered fragrance from either the Impulse or Lynx range from participating retailers and TXT the unique code found on the second layer of the peel and reveal sticker, followed by a space, and their full name. The TXT must be sent from a New Zealand mobile number to 8228. An auto-reply will be sent via TXT to confirm receipt of valid entries. The cost of sending a text is $0.20 each.
7. Please retain your Impulse or Lynx peel and reveal sticker, including your unique code, together with your purchase receipt, as proof of purchase and to redeem any prizes. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of purchase for each entry made to verify all entries before awarding the prize. Failure to provide these to the Promoter upon request may, at the Promoter's discretion, result in an invalid entry (and, at the Promoter's discretion, to all of that entrant's entries being invalid).
8. Entrants are limited to one entry per product purchased. Proof of purchase for every entry submitted, in the form of the Impulse or Lynx peel and reveal sticker, including the unique code, and the purchase receipt, must be provided on the Promoter's request in order to claim the prize. Where a copy of the receipt is not provided on request, or the receipt/s record(s) a purchase outside of the Promotional Period, the entry will be deemed invalid and the prize will be forfeited in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
9. Incomplete or indecipherable entries or claims will be deemed invalid.

11. Valid entries will be received by the Promoter 24 hours per day from the start of the promotion. The Major Prize Draw and the Minor Prize Draw will be drawn at Level 7, University of Otago Building, 385 Queen Street, Auckland, at 9.00am on Wednesday 16th December, with winners selected randomly from all valid entries received up to that point.
12. All winners will be notified by telephone no later than 18th December 2009.
13. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Major Prize Winner will be contacted by phone and mail within two days of the Major Prize Draw Date.
14. There is a total of one Jeep Wrangler, valued at $52,990 (inc GST), and 50 mobile phones valued at $299.00, to be won. The total prize pool is worth $67,940.
15. The first valid entry drawn in the Major Prize Draw will win the Major Prize. The Major Prize is a new Jeep Wrangler with automatic transmission, valued at $52,990 (inc GST). This prize includes all compulsory insurances and all on-road costs. Additional insurance, additional options, petrol and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the Major Prize Winner. Selection of the colour of the prize awarded is at the complete discretion of the Promoter and is subject to availability. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any mechanical, body or paint repairs from the date and time of collection of the prize. Major Prize Winner must have a current valid New Zealand driver's license in order to redeem the Major Prize and register the Jeep Wrangler in their name. If the Major Prize Winner is, through any legal incapacity or otherwise, unable to register the Jeep Wrangler in their own name, then the Major Prize Winner may assign the Major Prize to another person (who consents to such assignment) with legal capacity for the purpose of registration. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any such arrangements between the Major Prize Winner and the assignee. The Major Prize Winner must provide the Promoter with certified copies of all required documentation as required by the Promoter before the Jeep Wrangler is awarded. The Jeep Wrangler will be delivered to an authorized Chrysler dealer closest to the Major Prize Winner's location. The Major Prize Winner will be responsible for any expenses incurred in getting to and from their nearest authorised dealership to collect the Major Prize. The Major Prize will be made available to the winner within 28 days of the Major Prize Winner being drawn. If the Major Prize Winner fails to return the required documentation within three months of the closing date they will forfeit their prize.
16. The Promoter will liaise directly with the Major Prize Winner to arrange collection of the Jeep Wrangler.
17. The Minor Prize Winners will be selected randomly from all valid entries received within the Promotional Period, other than the entry that has already been randomly drawn and which is the Major Prize Winner.
18. Minor Prize Winners will each receive a Nokia 5130 Xpress Music mobile phone and $2 Sim Card for 2degrees. Mobile phones will be sent by courier to the Minor Prize Winners. Prizes will not be sent to any other person or address.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to dispose of any prizes not claimed by 4 January 2010 as the Promoter sees fit.
20. Prizes are the full responsibility of the winners.
21. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected TXT entries to this promotion.
22. Prize are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash. Prizes cannot be on-sold by the winner.
23. The Promoter is not responsible for any costs incurred by the prize winner in taking the prize. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Jeep Wrangler or mobile phones are not included.
24. The person whose mobile service is used to send the TXT message is deemed the Entrant. Entrants who use another person's phone may be disqualified. TXT entries via the internet are not valid and will not be accepted. The TXT entry mechanic is only open to consumers with a TXT compatible mobile phone connected to a service provider, which permits text messaging to the promotional TXT number. It is recommended that entrants check with their individual service providers in this regard. TXT winners will be contacted by telephone and the Promoter will record their address details so that their prize may be awarded. The Promoter will use the mobile number provided for entry purposes to make contact. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the promotion database and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant. 25. The Promoter will telephone each winning entry a minimum of once and a maximum of three times over a 72 hour period. Telephone calls will only be made between 8am and 7pm daily. If the Promoter and / or its agencies are unable to speak with the winner in person within 72 hours of drawing the winning entry, a new winner may be drawn and the original winner will forfeit their prize at the discretion of the Promoter.
26. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, at any time during or after the promotion, and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant (and ALL entries submitted by that entrant) for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to the use of techniques designed to avoid payment of call costs, and / or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible claims will be deemed invalid. Failure of the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
27. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted from that source and by those entrants invalid.
28. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its employees and agents shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential) as a result of , or arising out of, or in any way connected with the offer. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter, its employees and agents exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the offer, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in offer/prize values to those stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner; or (g) use of a prize.
29. If, for any reason, any part of this offer is not capable of running as planned, including war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of any part of this offer, the Promoter reserves the right (a) in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the claim/entry process, or may benefit from such tampering, and (b) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend any or all of parts of the offer. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
30. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance of the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
31. In the event that a prize is not available despite the Promoter's reasonable endeavours to procure the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal recommended retail value, subject to any written directions from a relevant Regulatory Authority.
32. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
33. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
34. A prize, or any unused portion of a prize which is not used within the specified period, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash unless specified otherwise.
35. It is a condition of entry that the winner may be required to execute a Deed of Acknowledgement, Release and Indemnity in a form prescribed by the Promoter in its discretion.
36. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the telephone or internet user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this promotion, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this promotion including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or website, software failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries and any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any materials in the promotion. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by a relevant Regulatory Authority, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
37. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering this promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. Entrants' personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners' names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. 38. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of age, identity and residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
